Reflection:

What are some DRIVERS (why it would work) and PREVENTORS (why it might not work) to establishing the "Read to Someone" piece of The Daily Five?

  1. I have two comments... First, the value of students reading to eacher is so great... what a confidence builder and even better as an avid adult reader I love reading the same books as my friends so we can talk about it! and every book on my summer list came from recomendations from my friends!

2nd... The fact that the sisters have told us exactly how to teach the routine of readto someone... anchor chart and fun acronym, takes such a load off. I think I would print out this picture and post it right on my chart so my students can see other students doing the same thing!
